Small battery operated pocket radio, an element of an extensive early range of portable audio devices. Although these designs are often photographed naked, their familial relation becomes evident in view of their outer cases. Whilst the devices' enclosures were made of light grey plastic, leather was specified for carrying and handling elements. See also the transistor K , T 4 , TP 1 , T 530 . Rams' counterintuitive combination of industrial and organic materials is enjoying a minor revival today in wireless speaker design.
